This role oversees operations, client relations, and service quality within the healthcare industry in Brackenfell, ensuring compliance with specific SLAs.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Manage the site efficiently, addressing client requests with urgency.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize cleaning output, adhering to SLAs.
  • Manage staff schedules, job cards, and ensure high service standards.
  • Handle site closures and related processes (staff, equipment, billing).
  • Retain contracts by maintaining excellent service and mitigating risks.
  • Uphold the company’s image with professional staff presentation and adherence to policies.
  • Maintain and repair assets; ensure equipment is in good condition.

Communication and Client Relations:

  • Conduct regular client meetings and complete checklists.
  • Respond promptly to client and management requests.
  • Submit reports, including hygiene, inspections, and training.
  • Communicate company updates effectively to staff and management.

Labour Management:

  • Collaborate with HR for staffing allocations and time sheet submissions.
  • Address HR and industrial relations issues per company disciplinary code.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and identify training needs for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Tsebo’s House Rules and legal regulations.

Health and Safety:

  • Adhere to OHS Act requirements and company policies for site safety.

Financial Management:

  • Manage leave liability and budget adherence for chemicals and consumables.
  • Identify opportunities for additional business within contracts.
  • Authorize and bill rechargeable work and overtime within deadlines.
  • Ensure timely debtors’ collections and manage capital expenditures.

General:

  • Maintain morale and motivation among staff.
  • Attend training, meetings, and implement initiatives by Tsebo or clients.
  • Represent the TCS brand professionally.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving experience.
  • Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of cleaning principles, policies, and SLA requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare.
  • Middle management experience overseeing large teams.
  • Knowledge of industrial relations and cleaning principles.
  • Experience in staff scheduling and task allocation.

Application Notes:

Candidates with experience in the healthcare industry, strong leadership, and operational skills are preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and deliver on client expectations will be advantageous.
