Purpose of the Job
To deliver learning and development services that support the implementation of strategies designed to sustain a high-performing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Needs Analysis:
- Identify learning and development needs through engagement with stakeholders.
- Intervention Design:
- Propose and source suitable learning and development solutions.
- Develop tailored learning programs for specific populations.
- Material Development:
- Assist in drafting and customizing course materials based on business needs.
- Facilitation and Evaluation:
- Facilitate various learning interventions.
- Assess the effectiveness and impact of learning programs.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Administration:
- Manage the logistics of learning events and maintain proper documentation.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in program development projects.
- Cultural Advocacy:
- Promote and sustain company culture through targeted initiatives.
Requirements
- Education:
- Tertiary qualification, preferably a Diploma/Degree in Behavioral Sciences.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in learning and development is advantageous.
- Retail industry experience is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in group presentations and facilitation.
- Strong planning, listening, and service orientation.
- Analytical thinking and sensitivity to people’s needs.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Computer literate and comfortable contributing in a digital learning environment.
- Travel:
- Willingness to travel extensively.
