Purpose of Position
Lead a store team to meet business KPIs, including driving sales, managing costs, reducing risks and stock loss, and ensuring compliance with administrative and world-class store standards.
Responsibilities
- Sales Growth:
- Enhance customer service to boost sales.
- Maintain the store’s image and standards.
- Manage stock efficiently and implement promotions.
- Stock Loss Prevention:
- Foster a positive store culture to minimize stock loss.
- Ensure adherence to security, cash, and stock handling protocols.
- Cost Management:
- Drive efficiencies to support the company’s low-cost culture.
- Administrative Duties:
- Perform and manage store administration as per company guidelines.
- Team Leadership:
- Train, coach, and lead a team of Dynamos for optimal performance.
- Maintain Standards:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- Education:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Degree or diploma in business/retail-related fields is advantageous.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of retail experience in a leadership role is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in English.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office or Google GSuite is a plus).
- Attributes:
- Strong passion for retail and customer experience.
- Demonstrated integrity and proactive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong managerial capabilities to plan, lead, and organize.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work retail hours.
