Purpose of Position

Lead a store team to achieve business KPIs by driving sales, managing costs, mitigating risks and stock loss, and ensuring administrative efficiency and world-class store standards.


Responsibilities

  1. Sales Growth:
    • Focus on exceptional customer service to increase sales.
    • Maintain store standards and stock image.
    • Implement effective stock management and promotional activities.
  2. Stock Loss Prevention:
    • Build a healthy store culture to reduce stock loss.
    • Adhere to security, stock, and cash handling procedures.
  3. Cost Management:
    • Promote the company’s low-cost culture through efficient cost control.
  4. Administrative Compliance:
    • Perform administrative duties in line with company guidelines.
  5. Team Leadership:
    • Train, coach, and lead the store team (Dynamos) to achieve high performance.
  6. Standards Maintenance:
    • Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Grade 12 qualification.
    • Tertiary education in business/retail-related fields is advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of retail experience in a leadership role is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in English.
    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite is a plus).
  • Attributes:
    • Passion for retail and delivering a top-notch customer experience.
    • Integrity and a proactive attitude.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Solid managerial abilities to plan, organize, and control operations.
    • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility to work retail hours.
