Role Overview
VKB Milling is seeking a General Worker for the Farm Foods Grain unit in Modderrivier. This is an entry-level role that requires basic skills in general tasks, cleaning, stock control, and manual labour.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or NQF 4.
- Experience: Painting experience is preferred.
- Skills: Ability to read and understand English; physically fit to perform manual labour.
- Work Schedule: Willingness to work Monday to Saturday (6-day work week) and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- General tidiness and cleaning duties.
- Assist with the loading and offloading of stock as per company policies.
- Maintain housekeeping standards at the premises.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills and Competencies
- Service-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Attention to detail and able to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and good practical skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Excellent time management.
