Job Overview
Hollywoodbets is looking for three VIP (Security) Officers to create and maintain a safe environment at various locations in the Western Cape. VIP Officers will be responsible for securing premises, preventing theft, and ensuring safety by conducting surveillance and patrols.
Key Responsibilities
Security & Surveillance Duties:
✔ Pre-Opening Check: Arrive 15 minutes before opening, conduct perimeter patrols and check for suspicious activity.
✔ Active Monitoring: Perform floor walks once the branch opens, ensuring the premises are secure and orderly.
✔ Emergency Readiness: Carry panic buttons, two-way radios, and be ready for emergencies.
✔ Search Zones: Scan and search all guests entering the branch, ensuring gender-specific scanning and no bags inside.
✔ Vehicle and Traffic Control: Manage the flow of vehicles and foot traffic on the premises.
✔ End-of-Day Procedures: Ensure minimal entry during closing to enhance security.
✔ Stock and Alarm Checks: Assist with stock receiving, alarm tests, and submitting daily reports.
Guest Service Duties:
✔ First Impressions Matter: Greet guests with a friendly “Good day, welcome to Hollywood” and provide excellent customer service.
✔ Proactive Issue Resolution: Address guest complaints positively and make sure feedback is communicated effectively.
✔ Friendly Farewell: Wish guests a good night and invite them to return with a friendly “please come again.”
Compliance & Conduct:
✔ Dress Code: Ensure full Amadoda uniform is worn, including name badge and appropriate footwear.
✔ Regulations Enforcement: Monitor premises to ensure no weapons, alcohol, or persons under 18 are on the premises.
✔ Code of Conduct: Maintain professionalism, avoid distractions, and stay sober on duty.
✔ Disciplinary Awareness: No smoking, no personal phone use, no casual conversations while on duty.
Job Requirements
✅ Education & Experience:
✔ PSIRA registration (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority).
✔ Previous security experience is required.
✅ Skills & Competencies:
✔ Strong Communication Skills – Ability to provide excellent guest service while maintaining security protocols.
✔ Attention to Detail – Vigilant monitoring and awareness of security risks.
✔ Ability to Work Under Pressure – Ability to handle emergencies and stressful situations calmly.
