Job Description
As a Collections Advisor at FNB, you will play a key role in recovering delinquent accounts, resolving credit queries, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring adherence to credit and payment solutions to increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recover delinquent accounts and maintain basic credit information.
  • Compile reports, obtain approvals for refinancing and repossessions.
  • Collect on arrears portfolio within mandate and resolve credit queries.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and inform customers of payment solutions.
  • Ensure exceptional service and exceed customer expectations with proactive, innovative solutions.
  • Manage costs and expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Efficiently resolve all customer queries within agreed timelines.
  • Take responsibility for own development to enhance competencies.

Ideal Candidate

  • Matric qualification required.
  • Must have at least 3 years of previous collections experience.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in Hogan and Secure Chat is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of credit card products is an advantage.
  • Strong business writing skills for emails and Secure Chat queries.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for assisting customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with other credit teams.
