Job Description
As a Project Manager at FNB, you will be responsible for driving business change through structured implementation and delivery of projects while managing time, resources, budget, and scope. You will lead cross-functional teams and ensure that quality, governance, and deliverables are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex projects in a constantly changing environment.
- Lead project teams across various levels and phases of the project life cycle and SDLC.
- Manage conflicting priorities and time effectively to deliver results.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality are met.
- Set goals, tasks, and timelines, reviewing progress and making necessary adjustments.
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities, ensuring efficiency.
- Lead Scrum events, sprint planning, and coordination.
- Apply change, risk, and resource management strategies.
- Resolve scope issues and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
- CAPM, PMP, or equivalent Project Management certification or qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing medium to complex projects impacting multiple systems and teams.
- Experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Self-starter, capable of working independently with little guidance.
- Payments experience in merchants is highly beneficial.
