Job Summary:

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a Retail Manager – Security Operations to ensure compliance with site-specific security requirements and effectively meet client security needs. This role involves conducting risk assessments, audits, staff training, and client engagement while minimizing stock losses and ensuring security personnel are properly trained.

The Retail Manager will be responsible for security operations in a retail/shopping center environment, managing risk, and ensuring operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Security & Risk Management

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to reduce stock losses.
  • Perform shrinkage audits and generate exception reports.
  • Evaluate security service levels and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure continuous assessment and enhance security barriers against criminal activity.
  • Investigate stock loss incidents and report findings.

2. Staff Management & Training

  • Conduct site-specific training for security personnel.
  • Ensure security officers meet contractual requirements.
  • Implement and enforce disciplinary measures where necessary.

3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain strong relationships between Fidelity Services and clients.
  • Attend meetings with clients (daily, weekly, and monthly).
  • Submit monthly reports on security operations and stock losses.

4. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to security protocols and ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management standards.
  • Audit client registers and report on discrepancies.
  • Travel nationally as required.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Matric Certificate & Grade B PSIRA Registration
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Security Operations (Retail/Shopping Centre environment)
Valid driver’s license & own reliable transport (essential)
Computer proficiency in MS Word & Excel
No criminal record
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management (advantageous)
