Job Description

Tiger Brands offers an exciting internship opportunity where you’ll support various projects and gain practical experience essential to completing your qualification. This internship will provide valuable hands-on exposure to help you understand your career path and build on your knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support project work in the Food Science/Food Technology/Human Nutrition fields
• Problem-solve issues and contribute ideas to improve processes
• Work with a cross-functional team to complete a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) project assigned by your Line Manager
• Gain on-the-job work experience aligned with your career aspirations
• Perform additional tasks to achieve business objectives

Qualifications and Skills

• Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • National Diploma in Microbiology, Food Science/Food Technology, or Human Nutrition
  • Should be in the final year of your qualification
  • Must seek to complete P1 & P2 in order to qualify for the completion of the National Diploma
  • No full-time work experience (more than 1 year) in the field of study
  • Work authorization in South Africa
  • Must be a citizen of South Africa and based in Pietermaritzburg
