Job Description
Tiger Brands is looking for a Workplace Experience Student to assist with various tasks related to accounting and finance. The role will allow you to shadow experienced employees and gain exposure to key functions within the finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Completion of month-end tasks, including journal processing and monthly reconciliations
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks such as budgeting, CAPEX, and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
- Participate in quarterly stock counts and site visits
- Provide assistance with internal and external audits
- Shadow experienced employees to learn their job duties and responsibilities
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
