Role Purpose

The Technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining machinery deployed at various sites, implementing an effective maintenance system within customer facilities, and ensuring service level agreement (SLA) delivery.

Main Outputs:

• Maintain equipment in line with the schedule, including preventative maintenance or emergency fault rectification, ensuring compliance with legislation, SLA, and job plans
• Identify maintenance risks on client equipment for evaluation and resolution
• Ensure machines are serviced and maintained to ensure maximum uptime
• Review infrastructure and maintenance strategies
• Facilitate inspections with appointed consultants and contractors
• Identify errors, breakdowns, and potential issues with machines
• Maintain issued vehicle and tools as per company policy
• Ensure proper control and retention of documents

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Matric (Senior Certificate)
• Valid SA Driver’s License
• 5 years relevant experience in servicing and maintaining sweepers and scrubbers
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level)
• Must be medically fit for site induction
