Role Purpose
The Supervisor will be responsible for managing and overseeing cleaning operations at the client’s premises during the night shift.
Main Outputs:
- Provide guidance to direct reports, including cleaners and team leaders
- Set clear priorities and goals for the cleaning team
- Assist cleaners as needed while they perform their duties
- Monitor and control the use of cleaning materials to reduce waste and misuse
- Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor work progress
- Gather resources, implement productivity standards, and resolve operational problems
- Contribute to the team’s success by meeting goals and objectives
- Ensure proper staff placement, manage time & attendance, and arrange for replacements
- Monitor adherence to work schedules and manage site equipment availability and condition
- Address employee queries and escalate to Contracts Manager for further intervention
Qualifications and Skills:
- Matric (Senior Certificate)
- 2 years relevant experience in cleaning services as a Team Leader
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PRP
