Job Overview: Divisional Manager – Hygiene and Pest Control

The Divisional Manager: Hygiene and Pest Control (Coastal) will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple contracts across the region. The role requires a dynamic leader with strong business acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to manage large, complex sites while ensuring financial sustainability and client satisfaction.

This portfolio also includes responsibility for inland business operations, which will require regular travel to manage teams and contracts effectively.


Key Responsibilities

As a Divisional Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

Operational Leadership

  • Implement and maintain Hygiene and Pest Control policies and procedures across all sites.

  • Provide strong leadership to operations teams and ensure effective contract management.

  • Manage labour, equipment, and consumables in line with budgeted standards.

Financial Management

  • Oversee all financial aspects of the division, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Ensure budgeted margins are achieved and costs are effectively controlled.

  • Monitor purchases and expenses to guarantee profitability.

Client and Customer Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers.

  • Respond promptly to client needs, ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.

  • Represent Tsebo professionally in all client interactions.

Compliance and Standards

  • Ensure compliance with industry legislation, company policies, and safety standards.

  • Drive quality, procurement, training, HR, and finance initiatives within the division.

  • Monitor and enforce performance management standards across all sites.

Staff Development

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities for operations teams.
