Clicks Group, a trusted name in the Wholesale & Retail Trade industry, is looking for a dynamic Beauty Assistant to provide professional advice and outstanding service in the Woodmead, Sandton store. This permanent role offers market-related remuneration and is aligned with Clicks’ Employment Equity principles.
Purpose of the Role
As a Beauty Assistant, you will be the face of Clicks’ beauty department. Your mission is to deliver service excellence, provide expert advice on beauty and skincare products, and drive sales by creating an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales
-
Consult with customers, answer product-related questions, and recommend suitable beauty or skincare solutions.

Drive and maximize sales through effective promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling to consistently meet monthly targets.

Promote Clicks’ clubcard loyalty program, enrolling new members to meet participation goals.

Encourage the purchase of private label and exclusive products to build profitability and brand loyalty.
Product & Merchandising Management

Maintain updated knowledge of all beauty products, new trends, ranges, promotions, and in-store events to guide customers accurately.

Ensure visual merchandising and in-store presentation meet Clicks’ standards at all times.

Monitor sales performance, suggest improvements to product offerings, and identify opportunities for growth.
Operations & Housekeeping

Execute all operational activities within the beauty department efficiently, including stock management and shrinkage control.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and administration for a clean, inviting shopping environment.
Brand Ambassador
-
Represent the Clicks brand with a friendly, professional demeanor, providing outstanding service that builds long-term customer relationships.

Uphold and promote the company’s values, positioning Clicks as the customer’s first choice in health and beauty retail.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
-
Essential: Grade 12 (Matric).
-
Desirable: A relevant beauty or skincare qualification.
-
Preferred Experience: Retail/FMCG, beauty/skincare, sales, or marketing environment experience is an advantage.
Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of selling principles and merchandising.

Knowledge of stock management procedures and customer service excellence.

Up-to-date understanding of beauty and skincare products.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a results-driven mindset.
