Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations within a healthcare setting in the Makhado area. The successful candidate will maintain exceptional service standards, manage client relationships, and ensure that all site activities align with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and occupational health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Take full responsibility for all cleaning operations on site, allocating resources to achieve optimal output and meet SLA requirements.

Client Service: Respond to client requests with urgency, ensuring proactive communication and issue resolution.

Staff Management: Work with HR to recruit, schedule, and manage a large team, including a trained pool of relief staff to avoid service disruptions.

Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to maintain high service standards. Oversee completion of job cards, work schedules, and client-specific reports such as hygiene consumption and training records.

Asset Management: Perform monthly spot checks on high-value equipment, ensuring timely repairs and servicing.

Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to cleaning methodologies, company policies, quality programmes, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Business Development: Identify opportunities for contract retention and additional services within existing client relationships.

Brand Representation: Uphold Tsebo’s professional image and protect the TCS brand at all times.
Skills and Competencies

Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in a similar cleaning or facilities environment.

Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex schedules.

Strong understanding of cleaning principles, methodologies, and company procedures.

Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.

Flexible, adaptable, and capable of working independently under pressure, including long hours or weekends when required.

Solid knowledge of industrial relations and employee engagement practices.
Qualifications

Required: Matric / Grade 12.

Preferred: Tertiary qualification in operations management, hospitality, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience in operations and people management is essential.
