Position Overview
Fidelity ADT is looking for a Sales Representative (Paarl, Western Cape) to join its growing team. The successful candidate will focus on selling alarm systems, CCTV installations, monitoring services, and other electronic security solutions to residential and commercial clients.
As a Sales Representative, you will play an essential role in driving business growth by identifying new customers, nurturing client relationships, and consistently meeting sales targets. This position is ideal for individuals who are goal-driven, passionate about technology, and eager to contribute to the success of one of South Africa’s most trusted security companies.
Key Responsibilities
Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Identify and acquire new customers by sourcing and selling armed monitoring and response agreements.

Promote and sell security products such as CCTV systems, alarm system upgrades, electric fences, and access control systems.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Meet and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive prospecting and consistent follow-up on leads.

Engage with potential clients, understanding their needs and recommending the most suitable security solutions.

Maintain an updated record of all sales activities, leads, quotations, and conversions.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth installation and handover processes for clients.

Report daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics to management, showcasing progress toward targets.

Conduct site visits where necessary to assess customer needs and prepare accurate quotations.

Stay informed on the latest security technology trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

Matric or equivalent qualification (Grade 12 essential).

PSIRA registration (advantageous).
-
A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential.

Previous sales experience, preferably in capital goods, technology, or security products.

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.

Knowledge of intruder detection systems such as IDS, DSC, AJAX, Paradox, or similar brands will be an advantage.

Computer literacy – proficiency in MS Office, email communication, and internet research.

Convert leads into signed contracts by demonstrating product value and service excellence.

Liaise with installation teams to ensure smooth handover and client satisfaction.

Manage administrative responsibilities such as submitting daily reports, updating CRM systems, and preparing quotations.

Participate in sales meetings, product training, and marketing initiatives to enhance knowledge and sales effectiveness.

Maintain ongoing contact with clients to encourage renewals, upgrades, and referrals.
