We are currently seeking a Driver/Cleaner to join our team in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. This role is ideal for a responsible, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about automotive operations and customer service excellence.
Position Overview
The Driver/Cleaner will play an integral role in ensuring that Europcar’s vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The position also includes delivering vehicles to customers, managing vehicle inspections, and ensuring compliance with all company procedures and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors according to Europcar’s quality standards.

Conduct vehicle quality control checks, identifying expired licenses or any non-compliance issues.

Refuel vehicles and perform checks on tyre pressure, oil, water, and fluids after each rental.

Deliver and collect vehicles as per company procedures.

Handle vehicle check-ins and ensure accurate documentation in line with company and quality control policies.

Maintain cleanliness and order within the yard and premises.

Safeguard the company’s assets and uphold ethical conduct at all times.

Perform additional duties as required by management.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant driving experience.

Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence (at least 2 years old).

Basic computer literacy.

Must be fully bilingual and able to communicate effectively in English.

Must be able to read maps and follow navigation routes accurately.

Flexibility to work weekends, shifts, and overtime as needed.
