Pedros is seeking a motivated Griller for its busy Blue Downs store. The role involves preparing and grilling menu items to meet quality, safety, and brand standards in a fast-paced environment, supporting operational excellence.
🧾 Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and grill chicken and other menu items according to approved recipes
- Monitor cooking temperatures, timing, and portion control
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet brand standards
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report faults
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO) and minimise waste
- Clean grills, workstations, and utensils regularly
- Assist with stock counts and ingredient preparation
- Support kitchen operations during peak periods
- Comply with health, safety, and company policies
🎓 Requirements
- Previous kitchen or grilling experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
