Position Overview

The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The role requires coordination with site teams, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Ideal candidates are ambitious, organised, and technically skilled, with a passion for developing their project management expertise in the construction industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple construction projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively
  • Ensure compliance with construction standards, JBCC contracts, and PROCSA agreements
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
  • Support tender processes, site reporting, and documentation
  • Provide input on town planning and site layouts when required
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Assist in developing project schedules, risk mitigation plans, and progress reporting

Minimum Requirements

  • Construction-related degree (Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar)
  • Honours degree in construction field highly preferable
  • 2–3 years’ site experience in construction
  • Knowledge of JBCC contracts and PROCSA agreements
  • Insight into town planning is advantageous
  • SACPCMP registration (plus)
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
  • Young professional, mid-20s, ambitious and career-driven
