Position Overview
Prestige Cosmetics Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Chanel Counter Manager at Woolworths V&A Waterfront.
This leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing a high-performing retail team, and ensuring the Chanel brand is represented at the highest luxury standard. You will oversee daily counter operations, staff performance, customer engagement, and stock management while delivering exceptional sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance Management
- Set and achieve individual and team sales targets
- Drive weekly and monthly sales performance
- Plan and execute in-store events and promotional activities
- Monitor sales trends and implement improvement strategies
- Maintain strong IPT (Items Per Transaction) performance
Brand Management
- Ensure strict adherence to Chanel brand standards
- Maintain grooming, hygiene, and luxury presentation standards
- Monitor competitor activity and report insights
- Ensure proper merchandising and visual display execution
Stock & Merchandising
- Manage stock levels, tester ratios, and product availability
- Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of stock
- Monitor stock reports and resolve shortages
- Maintain counter displays according to brand guidelines
Customer Relationship Management
- Deliver exceptional luxury customer experiences
- Build strong client loyalty and VIP customer relationships
- Handle customer complaints professionally
- Drive new customer acquisition and database growth
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop Beauty Consultants
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Manage team scheduling, leave, and attendance
- Resolve staff issues and maintain team morale
- Conduct regular meetings and training sessions
Administration & Reporting
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Prepare competitor analysis reports
- Manage event reports and documentation
- Maintain accurate records of performance reviews
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum 3 years retail and cosmetics experience
- Previous Counter Manager or supervisory experience
- Beauty or Make-Up certification (advantageous)
- Strong leadership and team management ability
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
