Position Overview
Prestige Cosmetics Group is seeking a highly skilled and creative Make-Up Artist for NARS at ARC V&A Waterfront.
This role is ideal for a passionate beauty professional who excels in advanced makeup artistry, customer engagement, and luxury retail sales. You will be responsible for delivering a world-class client experience while driving sales performance and maintaining strong brand standards.
You will represent the NARS brand in a premium retail environment, using your artistry skills to inspire, educate, and build long-term customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Focus on make-up product sales as a key revenue driver
- Support promotional events, launches, and in-store activations
- Provide timely feedback on customer and sales performance
Brand Representation
- Maintain high-end luxury brand image at all times
- Stay updated on beauty trends and competitor activity
- Ensure hygiene, grooming, and brand standards are strictly followed
Stock & Store Operations
- Ensure proper merchandising of all products
- Monitor and report stock availability daily
- Support stock control, loss prevention, and inventory accuracy
- Follow all operational procedures and POS systems
Customer Experience
- Deliver personalised luxury makeup consultations
- Create tailored makeup looks for clients
- Educate customers on product usage and trends
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Grow customer database through engagement and loyalty building
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with store team members to achieve targets
- Support onboarding and training of new staff
- Maintain a positive, professional team environment
Administration
- Complete daily tracking sheets and sales reports
- Assist with store management reporting requirements
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years retail cosmetics experience
- Minimum 3 years advanced make-up artistry experience
- Certified Make-Up qualification (compulsory)
- Strong knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques
- Own reliable transport
- Willingness to work weekends and retail shifts
