Position Overview
The Floor Advisor role is ideal for candidates looking for retail jobs in agriculture, sales assistant roles, or farming-related careers in Mpumalanga.
You will be responsible for delivering expert product advice, managing stock, and ensuring a high standard of customer service on the sales floor.
This position is perfect for individuals with farming knowledge, retail experience, and strong customer interaction skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Assist customers with product selection and provide expert advice
- Promote and sell agricultural input products
- Deliver excellent in-store customer service
Stock Management
- Order and replenish stock as required
- Conduct monthly stock counts and control checks
- Ensure accurate stock handling and storage
Merchandising & Store Operations
- Merchandise products effectively on the sales floor
- Maintain a clean, organised, and attractive store environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
General Duties
- Assist with sorting and storage of goods
- Support overall store operations
- Work overtime when operationally required
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant qualification (advantageous)
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of agricultural input products and veterinary medicine (advantageous)
- General farming knowledge
- Strong marketing and sales skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work under pressure
- Valid driver’s licence (Code 08)
- Willingness to travel
