Position Overview

Motus Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Digital and Retail Marketing Manager to join its Hyundai Head Office team in Johannesburg.

The role focuses on leading digital marketing performance, retail marketing strategy, and customer engagement initiatives across multiple channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving brand visibility, digital growth, customer retention, and campaign effectiveness while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Define and execute comprehensive digital marketing and paid performance strategies
  • Manage website traffic, SEO performance, and social media channels
  • Execute integrated digital marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers

Campaign & Retail Marketing Management

  • Plan and implement marketing initiatives across digital and retail platforms
  • Support product launches, promotions, and brand campaigns
  • Coordinate advertising, trade shows, and marketing activations
  • Ensure marketing communications align with brand guidelines and objectives

Data, Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Analyse digital campaign performance and monthly marketing reports
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve ROI and engagement
  • Track and report on digital spend and campaign effectiveness
  • Identify optimisation opportunities based on data insights

Stakeholder & Agency Management

  • Manage relationships with digital and creative agencies
  • Collaborate with Sales, After Sales, and dealer networks
  • Ensure alignment between head office and retail marketing execution
  • Support customer retention initiatives across the organisation

Financial & Governance Oversight

  • Implement and monitor marketing budget controls and compliance
  • Manage billing processes with agency partners
  • Ensure governance standards are met across all marketing activities

Leadership & Organisational Support

  • Drive a high-performance, customer-centric marketing culture
  • Support performance management and team development
  • Contribute to change management initiatives within the business
  • Ensure alignment with company values and brand standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BCom) in Marketing, Commerce, or related field
  • 5–8 years marketing experience, including 3–5 years in digital marketing
  • Strong experience in paid media campaigns and performance marketing
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms and community engagement
  • Experience in customer retention programmes
  • Automotive, logistics, or transport industry experience (advantageous)
