Position Overview

Motus Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager – Used Vehicles to join its Hyundai Strijdom Park dealership in Gauteng.

This role focuses on driving used vehicle sales performance, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the dealership meets and exceeds its sales targets. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive sales experience, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to lead customer engagement strategies effectively.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Prospect, qualify, and follow up on sales leads
  • Identify new sales opportunities in the used vehicle market
  • Build and maintain a strong customer pipeline

Customer Engagement & Sales Execution

  • Conduct professional sales consultations with customers
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable used vehicles
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles effectively
  • Negotiate and close sales deals in a professional manner

CRM & Administration

  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in CRM systems
  • Track leads, conversions, and sales performance metrics
  • Ensure proper documentation of all sales transactions

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with dealership teams to ensure smooth sales operations
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process
  • Support dealership goals and sales targets

Market Awareness

  • Stay updated on automotive trends and competitor activity
  • Monitor pricing strategies and market demand
  • Provide feedback to management on sales performance and opportunities

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in automotive sales (used vehicles preferred)
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Valid driver’s licence with clean driving record
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment
  • Knowledge of automotive products and market trends
