Position Overview
Faircape is currently hiring a Housekeeper for its Noordhoek Manor facility. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in cleanliness, attention to detail, and creating welcoming spaces.
As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring that the facility remains clean, organised, and comfortable for residents. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the facility
- Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning
- Conduct routine inspections and document findings
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects when required
- Ensure walkways are clean, safe, and free of debris
- Report maintenance issues and required repairs to management
- Safely mix and dispose of cleaning chemicals
- Follow all health and safety regulations at all times
Minimum Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 3 years’ cleaning experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and proper usage
- Understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
