Position Overview
Bidvest Prestige is currently recruiting a Healthcare Operations Manager to oversee and manage healthcare operations within its Western Cape division.
This role is responsible for ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across healthcare environments. The successful candidate will lead teams, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement in patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Operations Management
- Oversee daily healthcare operations including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Manage budgets and operational planning
- Ensure efficient service delivery across healthcare facilities
Strategy & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement operational efficiency strategies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality
- Monitor operational workflows and optimise performance
Compliance & Regulatory Management
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, industry requirements)
- Maintain operational alignment with safety and quality protocols
- Support audit readiness and compliance reporting
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, train, and develop healthcare operations staff
- Support recruitment and onboarding of healthcare personnel
- Foster a high-performance and patient-focused culture
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, and administrators
- Build relationships with healthcare providers, insurers, and partners
- Ensure alignment with external stakeholders and service expectations
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
- Analyse data to improve patient care outcomes
- Report on operational performance and improvement areas
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare operations or management
- Strong background in healthcare service delivery and operations leadership
- Proven experience in process improvement and team management
