Position Overview: Griller – Mahikeng
Pedros is currently hiring a Griller for its busy and high-performing store in Mahikeng. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and are passionate about preparing quality food.
As a Griller, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to Pedros’ strict quality, safety, and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and grill chicken and other menu items according to approved recipes
- Monitor cooking temperatures, timing, and portion control
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet brand standards
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO) and minimise waste
- Clean grills, utensils, and workstations regularly
- Assist with stock counts and ingredient preparation
- Support kitchen operations during peak periods
- Comply with health, safety, and company policies
Minimum Requirements
- Previous kitchen or grilling experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
