Position Overview: Senior Store Manager – Malekane

Pedros is opening a brand-new store in Steelpoort (Malekane) and is looking for a highly capable Senior Store Manager to lead the launch and ongoing operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to build a strong store culture from day one, manage a high-performing team, and drive profitability in a fast-paced restaurant environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operation of the restaurant/take-away
  • Ensure food quality standards and Pedros SOPs are maintained
  • Manage stock control, purchasing, and ordering processes
  • Handle customer complaints and maintain high service standards
  • Drive sales growth and achieve GP% and profitability targets
  • Manage staff schedules, discipline, and performance
  • Lead and motivate the team to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Oversee daily opening and closing procedures
  • Implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities
  • Manage customer relations and resolve complaints within required timeframes
  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of staff
  • Conduct regular team meetings and staff development initiatives

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant or fast-food service
  • Proven management experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • GAAP knowledge and experience (advantageous)
