Position Overview: Marketer – Input Products
TWK Agri is recruiting a Marketer: Input Products to join its Trade division in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
This role focuses on driving sales of agricultural input products while building strong relationships with farmers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide expert product advice, grow the customer base, and contribute to business growth.
⚠️ Please note: Although the role is advertised across multiple locations (Howick, Mooi River, Pietermaritzburg, Greytown), only one position is available, and placement will depend on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and stakeholders
- Provide expert advice on agricultural input products
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Achieve sales targets and support business growth
- Market and sell agricultural input products
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services
- Engage and convert prospective customers
- Conduct regular visits to customers and potential clients
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- 3–5 years’ experience in agricultural sales and marketing
- Valid driver’s license (Code 08)
- Willingness to travel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Customer-focused and results-driven mindset
Advantageous Qualifications
- Qualification in Agriculture, Marketing, or Sales
- AVCASA Certificate
- BASOS Certificate
