Position Overview: Marketer – Input Products
TWK Agri is currently hiring a Marketer: Input Products within its Trade division in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
This role is ideal for a sales-driven professional passionate about agriculture. You will focus on marketing and selling agricultural inputs while building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth.
📍 Important: This vacancy is advertised across multiple Midlands locations (including Howick, Pietermaritzburg, and Greytown), but only one position is available. Placement will depend on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and stakeholders
- Provide expert advice on agricultural input products
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Promote and sell agricultural input products
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services
- Engage new and prospective customers
- Conduct regular visits to key and potential clients
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- 3–5 years’ experience in agricultural sales and marketing
- Valid driver’s license (Code 08)
- Willingness to travel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Customer-focused and results-driven mindset
Advantageous Qualifications
- Qualification in Agriculture, Marketing, or Sales
- AVCASA Certificate
- BASOS Certificate
