Position Overview
Power Fashion is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for its Gugulethu store. This role supports the Store Manager in daily store operations and ensures that company standards, sales targets, and customer service levels are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Support
- Assist and relieve the Store Manager when required
- Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Cash & Financial Controls
- Handle daily banking processes
- Oversee the cash office and front-end controls
- Ensure financial accuracy and accountability
Stock Management & Shrinkage Control
- Monitor stock levels and reduce shrinkage
- Ensure proper merchandising and product displays
- Maintain store security and stock control procedures
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Support staff supervision, training, and development
- Promote a positive and productive work environment
- Assist in maintaining discipline and team performance
Sales & Customer Service
- Drive sales initiatives to achieve store targets
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics advantageous) or NQF Level 4
- Previous experience managing people or a department
- Clothing retail experience (highly advantageous)
- Strong communication and administrative skills
