About the Role
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and organise stock within the store. The role also includes merchandising, housekeeping, and assisting customers where required.

Key Responsibilities of a Forklift Driver
Customer Service
- Acknowledge and assist customers professionally
- Provide correct product information and guidance
- Assist with customer queries and complaints
- Support add-on sales opportunities
- Ensure goods are loaded safely and without delay
- Load customer purchases without damage
- Inform customers about store services (delivery, credit, special orders, etc.)

- Operate forklift safely and avoid overloading

- Do not operate faulty equipment
- Ensure safe movement of customers and staff within store areas
- Never use forklift to lift personnel
Security & Loss Prevention
- Monitor stock gaps and report issues
- Identify suspicious activity and report to management
- Ensure no goods are released without proof of purchase

Minimum Requirements – Forklift Driver
- Grade 12 OR minimum 1 year relevant experience
- Valid forklift license — essential
- Ability to communicate in English and local language
