Position Overview
RCL Foods is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to join their team in Durban. This role reports to the Learning and Development Specialist and focuses on coordinating, planning, and executing impactful training initiatives.
The successful candidate will manage learning systems, coordinate training programs, ensure compliance with SETA requirements, and support digital learning platforms. This is a high-impact role ideal for professionals passionate about employee training, HR development, and corporate learning strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Coordination
- Coordinate and support the delivery of multiple training and development programmes
- Manage training documentation, attendance registers, and invoices
- Conduct training evaluations and post-training impact studies
- Prepare and distribute high-quality learning materials
Learning Programme Implementation
- Schedule employees for internal and external training programmes
- Coordinate logistics including venues, travel, and catering
- Support course design and evaluate external training providers
- Monitor training effectiveness and quality standards
Digital Learning & Systems Support
- Manage e-learning platforms and learning management systems
- Provide technical support for platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams
- Track usage, engagement, and learning performance metrics
- Develop curated e-learning paths for employees
Learning Systems Quality Assurance
- Maintain accurate learning records for audits (B-BBEE, ISO, SARS, SETA)
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and governance standards
- Conduct system audits and ensure data integrity
Budget Control
- Track and manage training budgets and expenditures
- Assist with forecasting and financial reporting
- Monitor SAP reports and maintain budget trackers
SDF (Skills Development Facilitator) Support
- Assist with Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR)
- Support SETA submissions, grant applications, and compliance processes
- Track discretionary and mandatory grant payments
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external providers
- Engage with SETA stakeholders to ensure compliance and funding
- Promote employee engagement in learning programmes
Compliance & Reporting
- Support SARS audits and learnership tax rebate processes
- Compile B-BBEE reports and skills development data
- Assist with monthly and annual management reporting
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in Learning & Development or training coordination
- Valid Code EB driver’s licence
