Position Overview: Bulk Loader / Sampler (Manufacturing & Entry-Level Jobs South Africa)
QPro Feeds is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bulk Loader / Sampler to join its Vrede operations team. This role is ideal for candidates seeking entry-level jobs in manufacturing, production, and quality control.
You will be responsible for loading bulk feed products safely and accurately, as well as collecting and handling samples to ensure product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Load bulk feed products into trucks and transport vehicles according to schedules
- Ensure accurate weight measurements using weighbridge or in-line systems
- Follow proper loading procedures to prevent contamination and maintain feed quality
- Verify vehicle cleanliness before loading
- Maintain accurate loading documentation and records
- Collect and label samples of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
- Deliver samples to the QC laboratory for testing
- Maintain cleanliness of sampling tools, loading areas, and lab spaces
- Assist with basic quality control checks and reporting deviations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and PPE requirements
- Identify and report hazards or equipment issues
- Support housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and stock sample storage
- Assist with lab duties and shift handovers when required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)
- Experience in a feed mill, manufacturing, or production environment (advantageous)
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and varying weather
- Willingness to work overtime and shifts, including holidays
