About the Role:

Empact Group is looking for a Cook to join their team in the Food Solutions division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of food for daily kitchen production, ensuring that the food service meets the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation & Service: Prepare food of the highest quality for daily kitchen production.
• Batch Cooking: Must be able to do batch cooking, particularly in a hospital environment.
• Kitchen Support: Contribute to the efficient running of the kitchen by supporting the team with general duties.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cook in a contract catering environment is essential.
• Food and Beverage or Culinary Arts qualification.
• Matric.
• Experience working in a hospital environment is advantageous.

Key Skills:

• Ability to produce and present food at the highest quality standards.
• Experience in batch cooking for large-scale operations, especially in a hospital setting.
