Job Overview
Pedros is looking for a Finance Clerk to support card transactions, reconciliations, and supplier processing at the Centurion Distribution Centre. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial administration, accounting software, and reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Card Transactions & Reconciliations:
- Manage debit, credit, and fleet/garage card transactions.
- Obtain daily card transaction statements.
- Maintain electronic records of card slips and statements.
- Populate card reconciliation spreadsheets and expense trackers.
- Match transaction slips to statements and follow up on outstanding slips.
- Escalate and resolve long-outstanding slips.
- Upload card transaction slips and statements to SharePoint.
- Provide card transaction copies for intercompany transactions.
- Supplier Processing & Administration:
- Ensure accurate supplier processing and reconciliation.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist in financial reporting and expense tracking.
Requirements
✅ Matric Certificate.
✅ 2–3 years of experience in a similar financial role.
✅ Strong organizational and administrative skills.
✅ Attention to detail & accuracy in financial processing.
✅ Effective communication & problem-solving abilities.
✅ 1–2 years of experience with Sage 200 Evolution, Pastel Partner, or similar accounting software.
✅ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
