Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will include a variety of duties designed to keep the checkout area efficient and welcoming.
Customer Transactions

Operate an electronic point-of-sale (POS) system with an attached scale to process purchases accurately.

Ring up all products quickly and ensure the correct change is given.

Handle different payment methods—cash, debit cards, and credit cards—while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Service Excellence

Provide each customer with exceptional and friendly service, answering questions and assisting with product information.

Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during peak trading hours.

Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Store Knowledge & Promotions

Maintain solid knowledge of products on sale and relevant product codes.

Stay updated on all current promotions and advertisements to inform customers about savings opportunities.
Efficiency & Cleanliness

Work efficiently during busy periods by prioritizing tasks effectively.

Keep the till area clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.

Replace receipt paper and maintain POS supplies when needed.
Communication & Teamwork

Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.

Report any discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or customer issues to the Till Supervisor promptly.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Education: Matric (Grade 12)

Experience: Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer-facing retail role.

Location: Must reside within 25 km of Bendor, Limpopo.

Compliance: Clear criminal record.
Preferred Attributes

Age between 21 and 40 years.
Work Schedule
This role requires flexibility.
You will work 6 shifts per week, including Sundays and Public Holidays, across both trading and non-trading hours.
