Position Overview
The Learner Grain Grader role is designed for individuals seeking entry-level agricultural careers, grain handling jobs, or trainee positions in the South African grain industry.
You will be responsible for assisting with grain grading processes, sample handling, logistics administration, and compliance with statutory grain quality standards.
This position includes on-the-job training and development in grain grading certification.
Key Responsibilities
Grain Grading
- Grade grain according to official procedures and regulations
- Oversee sample taking processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory grain grading standards
Logistics & Administration
- Manage incoming and outgoing grain documentation
- Perform administrative tasks related to grain movement
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Compliance & Dispute Handling
- Assist in resolving grain-related disputes
- Ensure adherence to company and regulatory requirements
- Complete all required training courses
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
Experience
- Experience in agriculture (advantageous)
- Computer literacy with administrative background

- Willingness to complete in-service grading training
