Position Overview
The Co-Ordinator (Shift Supervisor) is responsible for overseeing daily shift operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and productivity.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking supervisor jobs, retail management roles, or hospitality leadership opportunities in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and create a positive first impression
- Take accurate customer orders (in-store, drive-thru, or online pickups)
- Ensure food and drinks are presented neatly and delivered on time
- Verify orders against receipts and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter, dining area, and service stations
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company standards at all times
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow
- Resolve minor customer complaints and escalate when needed
- Restock operational items such as cups, lids, sauces, and napkins
- Support efficient shift operations and team coordination
Minimum Requirements
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and in a fast-paced environment
