Position Overview

Motus Corporation is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Manager – Multifranchise Northcliff to join its dealership in Randburg.

The successful candidate will be responsible for full financial management of the dealership, including reporting, budgeting, compliance, cash flow control, and risk management. This role also includes oversight of HR-related dealership functions, making it both financially and operationally strategic.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Management Accounts

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements
  • Compile detailed management accounts including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Produce financial reports and performance commentary
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data

Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Prepare dealership budgets in collaboration with departmental managers
  • Monitor operational costs against approved budgets
  • Analyse financial performance and identify risks and opportunities

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Supervise cash management and working capital requirements
  • Maintain daily cash flow reporting and forecasting
  • Co-sign payments with Dealer Principal in line with policies

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Implement internal controls and corporate governance standards
  • Manage reconciliation of all financial records and assets

Operational Financial Control

  • Oversee debtor and creditor processes
  • Manage reconciliation of vehicles, parts, and service assets
  • Identify and resolve financial discrepancies

Team Leadership & HR Oversight

  • Lead and develop finance and administration teams
  • Manage payroll input and HR-related dealership processes
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Support employee relations in collaboration with HR

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting (NQF Level 7 or higher)
  • 5+ years’ accounting or financial management experience
  • At least 2–3 years in a management or team leadership role
  • Experience in the automotive retail industry (essential)
  • Valid driver’s licence (unendorsed)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, tax, VAT, and financial reporting
