Position Overview: Marketer – Input Products
TWK Agri is currently recruiting a Marketer: Input Products within its Trade division in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with strong agricultural knowledge. You will be responsible for driving product sales, building farmer relationships, and expanding the customer base within the region.
📍 Important: Although advertised across Howick, Mooi River, Pietermaritzburg, and Greytown, only one position is available, and final placement depends on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with farmers and stakeholders
- Provide expert advice on agricultural input products
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Promote and sell agricultural input products
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services
- Identify and engage prospective customers
- Conduct regular customer visits and field engagement
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- 3–5 years’ experience in agricultural sales and marketing
- Valid driver’s license (Code 08)
- Willingness to travel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Customer-focused and target-driven mindset
Advantageous Qualifications
- Qualification in Agriculture, Marketing, or Sales
- AVCASA Certificate
- BASOS Certificate
