About the Sales Representative Role

The New Vehicle Sales Representative will focus on generating leads, building strong customer relationships, conducting vehicle demonstrations, and achieving dealership sales targets.

This role suits a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, strong negotiation ability, and a passion for automotive sales.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Develop new customer leads and sales opportunities
  • Convert prospects into successful vehicle sales
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Build long-term customer relationships

Vehicle Demonstrations & Test Drives

  • Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations
  • Explain vehicle features, technology, and benefits
  • Arrange and manage customer test drives
  • Promote premium customer experiences

Negotiation & Deal Closing

  • Negotiate pricing and sales terms with customers
  • Assist customers through the vehicle purchasing process
  • Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are completed accurately

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Follow up with customers after vehicle delivery
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and encourage referrals
  • Build repeat business opportunities through strong service delivery

Product Knowledge & Administration

  • Stay updated on new BMW vehicle models and industry trends
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales records
  • Use CRM systems and sales tracking tools effectively
  • Follow dealership sales policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous automotive sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a target-driven sales environment
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales software
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Grade 12 / Matric required
  • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
