Motus Corporation is recruiting an Administrator: Debtors for its Multifranchise Menlyn division in Pretoria. This role focuses on managing dealership debtor accounts, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and supporting financial control processes within a busy automotive retail environment.

About the Administrator: Debtors Role
The Debtors Administrator is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, reconciliation, and collection of all outstanding dealership funds.
This role plays a key part in maintaining financial stability by managing customer accounts, following up on overdue payments, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
Debtors Management & Reconciliation
- Manage the full debtors function within the dealership
- Perform accurate account reconciliations
- Monitor outstanding balances and age analysis reports
- Ensure all transactions are correctly allocated
Account Administration
- Assist with opening new customer accounts
- Conduct reference checks on debtors
- Ensure customer account information is accurate and up to date
- Compile and distribute debtor statements
Collections & Follow-ups
- Follow up on overdue payments
- Communicate with debtors regarding outstanding balances
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients
- Secure payment commitments and resolve account queries
Reporting & Financial Control
- Escalate problematic accounts to relevant departments (e.g., F&I)
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
- Monitor monthly debtor movements and updates
- Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (required)
- Experience in debtor control or financial administration (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Computer literacy (MS Office and financial systems preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
