About the Sales Representative Role

The Sales Representative: New Vehicles is responsible for driving vehicle sales through customer engagement, product demonstrations, and closing deals.

You will work in a fast-paced dealership environment where performance, customer service, and product knowledge are key to success.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution & Lead Conversion

  • Generate and convert leads into customers
  • Apply effective sales strategies to achieve targets
  • Negotiate pricing and close vehicle sales deals
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales performance goals

Customer Engagement & Product Demonstration

  • Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives
  • Explain features, benefits, and specifications of new Renault models
  • Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business

Post-Sale Service

  • Follow up with customers after purchase
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and handle queries
  • Encourage referrals and long-term loyalty

Sales Administration

  • Maintain accurate customer records and CRM updates
  • Prepare sales reports and documentation
  • Follow dealership sales processes and compliance procedures

Market Awareness

  • Stay updated on new vehicle models and industry trends
  • Understand competitor offerings and market conditions
  • Apply insights to improve sales performance

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric (required)
  • Proven automotive sales experience (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • CRM and sales system knowledge (advantageous)
