Job Title: Retail Operations Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Retail Operations Assistant to join our on-site team. In this role, you will manage orders and stock deliveries to key retailers across the country, ensuring high customer satisfaction and efficient distribution. This role is critical in a fast-paced environment where timely order processing and effective communication are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Process orders on the company system (Fincon) promptly.
- Allocate orders to the correct warehouse and collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth processing.
- Manage stock allocation to orders and coordinate with procurement on incoming orders and transfers.
- Address exceptions and manage customer expectations related to stock shortages and delays.
- Keep customers informed of product developments, price changes, and stock levels.
- Ensure timely invoicing, delivery, and booking of orders as per agreed service times.
- Handle queries related to faulty stock returns in coordination with the technical team.
- Communicate with product and account managers about stock levels and demand.
Qualifications:
- Matric/National Senior Certificate (essential); a tertiary qualification is beneficial.
- Experience in a retail or operational support role is advantageous.
