Position Overview
The Admin/Grain Grader role focuses on accurate grain grading, daily administrative tasks, and client assistance. The position requires collaboration within the silo and Input Trade departments while adhering to safety and food management systems.
Requirements
- Education:
- Grade 12/NQF 4
- Grain grading certificate (recommended)
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of grain grading experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Additional Skills:
- Attention to detail and precision
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Team-oriented
Key Responsibilities
- Administration:
- Daily reconciliation and documentation
- Balancing purchases and managing orders (internal and external) for Input Trade
- Maintaining HACCP and Safety Management Systems
- Handling employee leave and overtime on PRP
- Client Interaction:
- Assisting with client queries, payments, and orders
- Grain Grading:
- Daily grading of raw materials (incoming and outgoing) following procedures
- System Management:
- Processing transactions on VKB’s internal financial (UNIX) and grain systems
