Job Overview

Hollywoodbets is seeking a Canteen Manager to oversee food and beverage operations at its facility. This role involves kitchen management, stock control, compliance, financial oversight, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will ensure that the canteen delivers high-quality food, excellent customer service, and optimal profitability.

Key Responsibilities

βœ” Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure food preparation, kitchen maintenance, and service areas meet hygiene and safety standards.
βœ” F&B Operations Management – Oversee kitchen workflow, food presentation, portion control, and service efficiency.
βœ” Financial & Budget Management – Control costs, maximize profitability, and ensure accurate cash and stock management.
βœ” Stock & Inventory Control – Manage stock levels, track wastage, breakages, and variances, and ensure efficient stock storage.
βœ” Staff Supervision – Oversee chefs, grillers, kitchen coordinators, cashiers, waitrons, and stock controllers. Handle performance reviews and disciplinary actions if necessary.
βœ” Customer Service & Experience – Address customer complaints proactively and build strong relationships with regular patrons.
βœ” Technology & Systems Management – Ensure the GAAP system is operational at all times for accurate stock and sales tracking.
βœ” Event & Resource Planning – Assign duties and schedule staff based on busy periods, events, and operational needs.
βœ” Reporting & Performance Monitoring – Submit daily, weekly, and monthly F&B reports, track trends, and implement improvements.
βœ” Collaboration – Work closely with the Betting Branch Manager to align the F&B experience with customer expectations.

Job Requirements

βœ… Education & Experience:
βœ” 5+ years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
βœ” 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in a similar role.
βœ” Valid Driver’s License.

βœ… Skills & Competencies:
βœ” GAAP System Expertise – Knowledge of F&B point-of-sale and inventory tracking software.
βœ” Financial Acumen – Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
βœ” People Management – Strong leadership skills to motivate, train, and manage staff effectively.
βœ” Customer Service Orientation – Ability to handle complaints, improve customer experience, and build strong client relationships.
βœ” Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Capable of identifying inefficiencies, implementing solutions, and ensuring compliance.
βœ” Attention to Detail – Strong ability to maintain hygiene standards, manage stock, and oversee food quality.
βœ” Adaptability & Pressure Management – Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle peak service hours.
