Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a reputable Health Consultant specializing in Vitamins and Supplements for their Flamwood store in Klerksdorp. You will be responsible for promoting and selling Dis-Chem Health Focus products while delivering excellent customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum of 6 months’ sales experience in a Vitamins/Health environment
• Strong command of the English language
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Sound numerical skills
• Willing and able to work retail hours

Advantageous

• Qualification in BSc Biomedicine, BSc Biotechnology, or relevant qualification within the health focus field
• Sales experience in a retail environment
• Experience in the health industry (vitamins, supplements, or health foods)
• Fluent in a 2nd language prominently spoken in the area

Job Specification

• Assist and advise customers to ensure the highest levels of customer care and service
• Assist with back shopping to ensure the effective operation of the department and store
• Maintain merchandise displays in the health focus area, keeping them stocked and faced up
• Report price discrepancies to management as they appear
• Ensure proper merchandising, promotion, and availability of broadsheet items
• Implement promotional displays and merchandising materials
• Achieve monthly team, brand, and vendor targets
• Stay up to date with new products and product lines
• Follow administrative processes in the Health Department, including weekly returns, stock control, and monitoring stock levels
