Job Description

TsAfrika Catering Solutions is recruiting a Cashier to provide excellent service by processing transactions promptly and accurately. The Cashier will perform duties such as restocking beverages, general supplies, and food services while ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and ensure they feel valued.
• Handle customer inquiries, questions, and concerns with professionalism.
• Keep the counter around the tills clean and ensure tills are fully operational.
• Count the till float and ensure there’s sufficient change, paper, and ribbon in the printer.
• Ensure stock in the resale area is correctly displayed and restocked daily.
• Maintain a clean front-of-house area.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure amounts are correct.
• Complete daily cash-up and related paperwork accurately.
• Issue receipts to customers and return appropriate change.
• Address discrepancies in cash and handle shortfalls as per agreement.
• Assist with orders and smooth operations in both front and back of house.
• Clean the counter and prepare sales analysis daily.
• Assist the Admin Assistant/Manager with end-of-shift cash-up procedures.

• Strong customer service skills and a helpful attitude.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar cashier or administrative role.
